Nissan GT500 S14 Silvia Private Build

Posted by

Do you guys remember this car?

We featured this car back in June and at the time I figured it was just a really cool rendering and nothing more than that.

It is real. The goals are set at 1000kg weight, 500-600hp a full carbon body, center locking BBS wheels, sequential transmission, a 2.2 VVL modified SR20DET engine and a whole bunch of whoop ass.

You can watch the build progress here:

Fredrik Soderquist – You are the man. You’ve earned all of our respect. We’ll be watching! 🙂

The Best Private Built Silvia Ever

S14 Silvia Private Build

I cant believe I have never seen this car before. The build of this car is massively epic. A guy in Leeds built this car in his garage from a bone stock S14 Silvia. He even made his own fiberglass body panels from scratch. This is essentially a backyard built Super GT car…something I was pretty sure I’d never see.

The guy who built this car deserves some sort of award or something. It is truely insane to see how he put this together all on his own.

I cant do this car justice. You need to see the build pictures. It is absolutely insane.

PCAL – The S14 gets a Swedish Massage

While most interest in Nissan’s S14 has to do with drifting, I tend to have a soft spot for versions of the car that have been tuned for grip. The C-West car above illustrates that. It seems that someone in Sweden has a similar fascination with the sports coupe. Vizualtech is a firm that specializes in 3D renderings of everything from technical drawings to vintage racing art. Their blog is definitely worth checking out. They recently released rendering of a very extreme S14. Whether this car was inspired by an existing car or designed to be inspiring, the result is stunning. Here’s to hoping the potential of the design is realized.
