This is one of the cars I’m really excited to see in person (in less than two weeks!)! The previous version S900 widebody was a classic and it seems that it is now time for version 2.0! They are calling this one the Schwarzer S900 Supra.
Above is the rendering, below is the in-progress shot. Naturally I’ll be updating in real-time from Tokyo whenever I get the chance. Odds are you’ll see the finished version of this car here first!
The owner of this car is fairly crazy for high end modifications. Here you can see he installed the Ab Flug rear bumper along with the Mines carbon fiber wing cover. Although I’ve done my best to try to hide the scissor door conversion (which I don’t happen to like), you can see a peek of it in the above photo.
Above you can see another nice wheel choice, this time TE37s in a gloss black which fit the car’s theme and makes the blue brakes pop nicely. I really also love the Amuse exhaust poking out in the above picture with the blued/gold ring tips. Classic.
This is what the Veilside Supra combat style kits of the mid 1990s have grown up to become. Although my style preference has turned somewhat away from ultra aggressive aero design in recent years I still really enjoy looking at this car. Ab Flug’s Vanguard Z34 370Z manages to somehow reconcile the difference between between hardcore racer and mature design. Most importantly however from my point of view: the design is unique and represents yet another original Japanese vehicle design.
I think if someone did this kit with a different set of rims people would go nuts for it. A white one with 19″ Top Secret TE37s for me please…
